Transfers
Within the JAC System / Transferring to and from RTC INTERCITY, DART, or BlueGO
Depending upon your final destination, you may require a transfer within the JAC system. On the Route Map, the “T’s” identify transfer points. Please ask your JAC driver for a transfer when getting on the first bus. These free transfers are valid for one hour from the time they are issued. A transfer voucher cannot be used to board the same route in which it was issued. If you need to board the same route, an additional fare is required.
Please note:
Transfers are for switching from one route to another. However, transfers are not allowed between Routes 2A and 2B.
Transfers are for one-time use only and are good for one hour from time of issue.
Return trips require additional fare.
The RTC INTERCITY and BlueGO accept transfers from JAC at a reduced fare, making it easy to get around Carson City and to Reno/Sparks, Lake Tahoe and Douglas County.
If you’re traveling from Reno on RTC INTERCITY or Lake Tahoe on BlueGO, you can receive a transfer to JAC at no cost. From Douglas County, on DART, you can receive a transfer to JAC at no cost.
