Here is the definition of the parcel numbering system:

008-846-23 These numbers represent a particular section of Carson City and are located in the upper right corner of the map. This parcel is located in Book 8. The Assessor’s office currently has the following books, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10.

  • 008-846-23 These two numbers indicate the page in a book and are located in the upper right corner of the map. This parcel is in Book 8 Page 84.

  • 008-846-23 These three numbers appear in an oval indicating the block the parcel is in.

  • 008-846-23 These two numbers appear in circles on the parcels to identify the individual parcels.
