COMPETITIVE SWIMMING PROGRAM

The Carson Tigersharks program is a year-round swim team program with a mission to “provide the best environment for all swimmers to achieve success through competitive swimming.” The program offers all competitive swimming levels starting with the “Star Club” to the ‘Masters” program. Many Tigersharks swimmers have advanced through the program to receive college scholarships, with numerous of those athletes returning to coach the summer league and hold clinics for current swim groups. Swimming is a lifetime sport that builds character, discipline, and time management skills: all of which benefit the swimmers throughout their lives. The youth that have committed to the Tigersharks program have produced incredible and notable success both in and out of the pool.

Aquacize - Water Play that's good for you
Aquacize is a co-ed, water exercise program for adults of all ages. Aquacize offers a friendly, energetic atmosphere. Swimming skills are not required. No music is used, so the pace is not forced. Exercise and improve at your own speed, whether you are a beginner or already in good physical condition. Low stress. Low impact. Water exercises tone the muscles of all parts of the body without resulting in soreness. Classes are one hour long, five days a week, year round. Pre-registration is not required. Drop-ins welcome. Come join the fun!

Range of Motion Class
This class is designed to increase mobility and range of motion through a series of gentle, head to toe exercises in the 92-degree Therapy Pool. These exercises are extremely low impact and are perfect for those with arthritis or recovering from surgery or injury. If physical limitations, injries or joint pain and stiffness limit your mobility and/or exercising options, this class might be just what you need to feel better. Swimming skills are not required. Exercises are not cardiovascular in nature.
Tuesdays and Thursdays- 10:00-10:45am
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays- 9:00 -9:45am
Cost: $3/seniors, $4/adults
Deep Water Exercise
A 45 minute deep water class which provides an opportunity to receive a cardiovascular workout to music without any impact on the joints by wearing a water flotation belt.
Mondays,Tuesdays and Thursdays - 9 am or 10am

Introduction to Paddle Board Yoga
Who needs a yoga mat? Climb up on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) and experience yoga in a whole new way. Practicing yoga on a SUP builds endurance, balance, full body strength and coordination. It will not only require your full attention and heighten your level of awareness, but it may even tap into your sense of playfulness and humor. Limited space available so enroll today.
