trafficThe Carson City Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division is comprised of five (5) Harley Davidson motorcycles and several vehicle units and is tasked with the enforcement of traffic related issues, encompassing everything from parking violations and abandoned vehicles to speed enforcement and accident investigation. All deputies assigned to this Division undergo hundreds of hours of traffic enforcement and accident investigation training above and beyond the normal, basic traffic related training supplied to patrol officers. The traffic officers are constantly in the field conducting speed enforcement operations or investigations and will be in a neighborhood near you. Drive Safely. Annual Police Motor Officer Extreme Training Challenge
