CAMPO is responsible for transportation planning in the Carson Urbanized Area, including Carson City, northern Douglas County and western Lyon County.

STAND UP 4 TRANSPORTATION PROCLAMATION
CAMPO is a voting member of the Nevada Unified Certification Program (NUCP), for the purpose of certifying Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) who wish to participate in U.S. Department of Transportation-assisted projects in the State of Nevada.
Meetings of the NUCP Committee are generally held on the last Tuesday of each month, at 10:00 a.m. Physical meeting locations rotate each month between the northern and southern parts of the state, but there is opportunity to attend by conference call as well. Notice: The Jump Around Carson (JAC) transit system is retiring one of its buses from service and is making it available for donation to eligible governmental entities and 501 (c)(3) non-profit agencies. Those interested must submit a letter of intent and an application to be received no later than July 27, 2015. For more information, contact staff at (775) 283-7583. Any applications received will be presented to the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) Board for consideration at its August 12, 2015 meeting.
