NOTICE OF SALE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that I, Alvin Kramer, Treasurer and Ex-Officio Tax Receiver of Carson City, Nevada will sell at public auction to the highest bidder, for cash or certified check on the of 4th day of March, 2014 at the hour of 9:00 a.m., on the steps of the Carson City Court House, 885 E. Musser St. Carson City, Nevada, in accordance with the provision on NRS 361.595, all of the right, title and interest of Carson City County, Nevada in and to all of that certain lot, piece or parcel of land lying and being in the County of CarsonCity, State of Nevada, and particularly described as follows to wit:

Mailed bids will be accepted if received at the Carson City Treasurer’s office by February 27, 2014 at 5pm. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check for the full amount of the bid. All mailed bids will be read publicly at the beginning of the auction.
No bid will be accepted for less than the amount set forth as the minimum acceptable bid. The successful bidder must pay the purchase price in cash or certified check or shall deposit with the Treasurer the sum of ten percent (10%) of the purchase price at the time of the acceptance of his bid, and before 3:00 pm of the same day, deliver to the County Treasurer cash or cashier’s check in the amount of the bid, less the ten percent (10%) deposit.
If the successful bidder fails to deliver to the County Treasurer the cash, certified check within the specified time, his ten percent (10%) deposit is forfeited to Carson City County and shall be deposited to the credit of the County’s General fund. The property will be offered to the second highest bidder or auctioned again.
All sales will be made subject to existing rights of way and easements of Carson
County, Nevada or the State of Nevada.
The Carson City Treasurer reserves the right to withdraw from the sale any parcel for any legally valid reason.
Carson City County does not warrant the condition of the title of tax delinquent properties. Prospective bidders should make inquiries in this respect.
This notice and order of sale shall be posted in at least three public places in Carson City, including the Carson City Courthouse and on the above-described property to be sold, for a period of not less than 20 days before March 4, 2014 and shall be published once a week for four (4) successive weeks in the Nevada Appeal prior to March 4, 2014
