It's that time of year again...time to take pride in our city by pruning trees, shrubs and raking leaves. The Public Works Operations Division will be out to pickup garden and yard debris. The leaves must be bagged; the limbs must be less than six feet long tied in bundles and no larger that 4" in diameter.
Bags and bundles cannot exceed 60 pounds each or they will not be picked up.
We must limit the material we pickup to vegetation only (leaves, limbs, prunings, etc.) and cannot accept items such as household garbage, old appliances, furniture or lumber.
Please place the material you wish to have picked up near the curb in plain view by November 5 at 7:30 a.m. Public Works crews will begin pickups on Monday, November 5 at 7:30 a.m. and go thru Thursday, November 15 at 5:30 p.m.
There will be no pickups for this year after Thursday, November 15th.
Starting Monday, October 22 you may call Public Works at 887-2355 to be put on the list for FREE pickup. Requests will be taken thru Thursday, November 1 at 5:30 p.m.
