    In October 2018, Carson City became the 76th Bee City USA affiliate in the nation, and the first in the state – setting an example for the rest of Nevada to choose to promote pollinator populations too.

Help Name Two Open Space Properties

The Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department invites all residents interested in the official naming of two open space acquisitions to participate in a brief one-minute online survey.

The subject properties are located on the west side of Carson City between Ash Canyon and Vicee Canyon. Please refer to the survey for a map and photo of the two properties: https://carson.org/naming.
