Freeway Multi-Use Pathway

The Freeway Multi-Use Pathway is a paved trail about 10 feet wide, with grades no more than 2%.  Along the way you will enjoy historic vignettes at each of the gateways and interchanges that present the theme “Carson City’s History in Motion”.

The Freeway Multi-Use Pathway begins at the north end on Silver Oak Drive where it meets Alexa Way.  The Pathway continues south across Northgate Drive and leads to Emerson Drive.  From Emerson Drive, take Retail Drive to College Parkway where you will travel east to the next access which goes south to Northridge Drive.  Take Northridge Drive under the freeway to North Lompa Lane, and follow N. Lompa Lane south across E. William St (US Hwy 50).  The Pathway will resume again when North Lompa Lane ends, and it will take you to a location on Airport Road that is just about 600’north of the Linear Ditch Trail!
