Carson City Public Works is made up of many divisions, including the Operations divisions of Streets, Water, Sewer, Storm Water, Wastewater, Environmental and Landfill. It also includes the Engineering Division which oversees all Capital Projects; the Transportation Division, which includes RTC, JAC, and CAMPO; and the Utility Billing Division.

Our sandbag station is stocked and ready for you. Bring a shovel and take what you need. If supplies are running low, please call us at (775) 887-2355 and let us know - we will get it restocked as soon as possible!

TIP #1 - Do not pump any crawl space water into the sewer; this includes draining into your sinks, toilets, bathtubs or sewer clean-outs in front of the house. Not only could it clog your pipes, it adds additional flows to our already stressed wastewater treatment facility. This water should be pumped to your existing landscaping or to the street's drainage system.

TIP #2 - Check the storm drains near you to make sure they are clear of debris to allow maximum drainage.
