You are hereby notified that the Carson City Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on WEDNESDAY, December 19, 2018, regarding the item noted below. The meeting will commence at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Carson City Community Center, Sierra Room, 851 East William Street, Carson City, Nevada.

Agenda Title: SUP-07-059-1 For Possible Action: To consider a request for a Special Use Permit to increase the permitted height of a freestanding sign from 32 feet to 40 feet on property zoned General Commercial (GC) and located at 3800 South Carson Street, APN 009-153-17. Summary: The applicant is requesting to increase the height of an existing sign. The allowed height of a sign in this zoning district is 20 feet without additional review. The current height of the sign at 32 feet was approved by Special Use Permit. This request is to allow a modification of the Special Use Permit approval to allow an additional increase of 8 feet to a total height of 40 feet.
