Bus passes are more convenient than cash and offer discounted fares. Monthly passes are valid for unlimited rides within the calendar month for which the bus pass is issued. A 10-ride punch pass can be used any time and is valid until all 10 rides are used. The bus driver will punch the pass every time you board, so you will know how many rides you have left.

Senior Bus Pass Program

JAC offers unlimited free rides on the regular fixed-route system for seniors participating in the Senior Bus Pass Program.  Seniors can participate in this program by registering with JAC at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center at 911 Beverly Drive during normal business hours.  To register, seniors need to be age 60 or older and complete a registration form.  Present the completed registration to a representative at the Senior Center finance office to receive your free Senior Bus Pass.  Passes are valid for unlimited rides on the regular fixed-route service for an entire year (generally July 1 to June 30), as long as grant funding is available.
